3. What FictionLab AI provides

We publish a showcase of fictional companion characters and provide access to entertainment chat with them. Nothing on this site is a real relationship service.

4. Fictional nature of the service

Every companion, portrait, biography and sample message is invented. No character represents a real person, and no reply should be treated as a statement of fact.

5. Not professional advice

Companion conversations are entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency advice, and must never be relied on as such.

6. Emergencies

If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. FictionLab AI cannot help in an emergency.

7. Account registration

If an account is required you agree to give accurate information and keep it current.

8. Account security

You are responsible for your login details and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

9. One person per account

Accounts are personal. Sharing, selling or transferring an account is not permitted.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use FictionLab AI for anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive or harmful to other users or to the service.

11. Prohibited content

You may not submit content that sexualises minors, promotes violence, harassment, terrorism, trafficking or any other serious harm. Such use ends access immediately and permanently.

You may not present a companion as a real person, nor use the service to impersonate anyone else.

13. No automated access

Scraping, crawling for reuse, automated message generation and reverse engineering of the service are not permitted.

14. Service integrity

You may not attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits or access restrictions.

15. Intellectual property

The FictionLab AI name, page designs, character writing, imagery and code are protected and remain our property or that of our licensors.

16. Limited licence to you

You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to view this site and use the chat for private, non-commercial entertainment.

17. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant us the limited permission needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

18. Content moderation

We may review, filter or remove content that breaches these terms or applicable law.

19. Pricing and payment

Where paid features exist, the price and billing period are shown before purchase and charges are taken through the stated payment provider.

20. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

21. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges and access continues until the end of the paid period.

22. Refunds
